Comóradh, Seán Sabhat agus Fearghal Ó hAnnluain, Eanáir 2012
In January Sinn Féin Poblachtach held two very successful commemorations in limerick and Monaghan for Seán Sabhat and Fearghal Ó hAnnluain. Both men were volunteers in the Irish Republican Army. On New Years Day 1957 as part of the "Border Campaign" the IRA launched an attack on Brookeborough station which was then occupied by the RUC and the B-Specials. Fearghal and Seán were both fatally wounded. The same enemy they fought against still occupy the same part of our country, British rule may have been updated but resistance continues and we who represent undiluted Irish Republicanism will keep the memory of such men alive. There sacrifice was not in vain.
Here are some pictures from the commemorations and you can hear the orations in the added videos which are on the right of your screen.
